Our maps (CropMaps) show the spatial and temporal variability of productivity, yield, and canopy density of field crops, orchards, groves, and vineyards. We use remote sensing data collected by satellites and aircraft to generate the crop maps. The maps can be used for directed soil and tissue sampling, to create management zones, and variable rate application maps. CropMaps are a key to making site-specific or precision farming profitable.
